Since 1999, the Harput Tekstil R&D Center has been carrying out activities focused on developing innovative products, processes, and technologies in the textile industry. Since July 2016, our center has continued its activities as an R&D Center approved by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology, conducting its work based on the principles of sustainability, quality, efficiency, and customer orientation.

Operating with a team of expert researchers and a strong technical infrastructure, our R&D Center develops innovative solutions across the entire textile production chain, from yarn to fabric and from dyeing and finishing to printing and functional surface treatments. Thanks to our fully integrated production structure, ideas developed in the laboratory are rapidly validated at pilot and industrial scales and transformed into value-added products.

Our company carries out product development activities in the fields of technical textiles, industrial textiles, smart textiles, functional home textiles, and protective and medical textiles by using various application methods such as printing, coating, impregnation, and lamination. As part of our design activities, fashion and market trends are monitored, and innovative designs are developed particularly for drapery fabrics, sheer curtains, roller blinds, and blackout curtains with functional properties. Value is added to products by developing dobby, jacquard, embroidered, printed, and coated technical fabric qualities. In addition, R&D activities aimed at process and quality improvements are carried out through innovative studies conducted within production processes.

Our R&D activities cover a wide range of fields, including yarn, weaving, dyeing and finishing, digital and conventional printing technologies, coating, technical textiles, and functional textile applications.

Our work focuses on strategic areas such as sustainable raw materials, recycled and bio-based materials, functional textiles, automotive textiles, technical textiles, digital printing technologies, energy and resource efficiency, and environmentally friendly production processes.

Collaborations are developed with universities, research institutions, and industry stakeholders, while projects are carried out within the scope of national and international support programs. To transfer the knowledge gained to the industry, we actively participate in scientific publications, congresses, symposiums, workshops, and training activities.

Our R&D Center also attaches importance to protecting intellectual property rights through patent, utility model, design, and trademark activities and contributes to the dissemination of knowledge through scientific publications, congresses, symposiums, and training activities.

The planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of R&D projects are carried out in accordance with the principles of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and are supported by a continuous improvement approach.

The Harput Tekstil R&D Center aims to develop solutions that add value to the textile industry and shape the textiles of the future by combining innovative technologies with a sustainable production approach.
