Through a project launched by a holding company in Bursa, drawings created by more than 100 children were processed at the textile factory where their parents work and transferred onto pillowcases.
As part of the “From Dreams to the Textiles of the Future” project in Bursa, the children of holding company employees used their imaginations to create drawings.
These designs were transferred onto fabrics using digital printing machines at the textile factory within the holding company and transformed into pillowcases following the cutting and sewing stages.
In the final stage of the project, which lasted approximately one month, the pillowcases were filled, transforming the children’s dreams into products.
The drawings came to life through the production processes where their parents work, and the resulting pillows were presented to the children in celebration of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
THE CHILDREN’S DREAMS CAME TOGETHER WITH PRODUCTION
In a statement to an AA correspondent, Büşra Etkeser, Member of the Board of Directors of Harput Holding, said that children with the ability to dream are the most important force shaping the future.
Stating that the children of approximately 120 employees created drawings using their imaginations as part of the project, Etkeser said:
“Through our ‘From Dreams to the Textiles of the Future’ project, we brought together the imaginative worlds of our employees’ children with our production capabilities, transforming their drawings into real products and offering them an unforgettable experience. One of the most meaningful aspects of this project for us was seeing Harput Tekstil work for our children.”
Etkeser stated that the production process at the factory took on a special meaning by bringing the employees’ children’s dreams to life and that the mothers and fathers involved in the project produced something for their own children.
Etkeser stated that the pillows were presented to the children as gifts for April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day and said:
“The production lines where their mothers and fathers work every day are now operating to turn their children’s dreams into reality. This meaningful connection is a special source of pride and motivation for us. We are delighted to witness our children’s creativity through this project, which reflects the spirit of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day. On this occasion, we wish all our children a happy holiday and hope their dreams will always illuminate our path.”
